Pride at Westbury

PrideFest

Our PrideFest stands as a beacon of unity and celebration, embracing individuals from all walks of life, irrespective of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or background. At Westbury UMC PrideFest, our mission is clear: to cultivate a space that's not just welcoming and safe but profoundly inclusive, ensuring there's room at the table for everyone.

Join Kindred!

Kindred is an adult Sunday class for those who enjoy different perspectives, asking hard questions, and giving thoughtful answers.

We study a variety of materials — some are social justice oriented, others are traditionally Methodist in nature. We welcome all participants — all adult generations and genders and ethnicities, gay and straight and LGBTQ+ allies. We meet Sundays at 9:30am and socially at other times.

For Pride, Kindred is reading and discussing together Shameless: A Case for Not Feeling Bad About Feeling Good (About Sex) by Nadia Bolz-Weber.
