"Each person should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." – 2 Corinthians 9:7
Jesus talked more about money and possessions than any other topic other than the kingdom of God itself. Often we can see where our priorities lie when we examine our spending habits.
It's important to remember that money doesn't define a ministry or determine our value as people of God. It is simply a response to the love of God and the abundant blessing God has given us in Jesus Christ. In this way, giving is an act of worship. May you discover the true joy of giving.
Here are ways to give:
1) Give Online
You can designate your gift to the general budget or you can choose to fund specific ministries of the church. Each gift is confidential and secure (trustmarked by McAfee® and processed through EasyTithe™).
Quick Give: This is intended for a one-time gift. You don't need to set up a login or password; however, if you do set up a login and password, you'll benefit from the convenience of saving a step by not having to re-enter your preferred financial information and you'll have access to your giving history in order to track your contributions.
Scheduled Giving: Select this option to schedule automatic bank draft. You can choose the frequency and amount of your recurring gift and it will automatically debit from your checking account based on your preferences.
2) Give In Person
When you're with us in worship, you can always use the offering envelopes found in the pews to enclose cash or a check. There are also opportunities for special giving at the altar rail on Communion Sundays.
3) Give Through Mail
Donations by check can be mailed to Westbury United Methodist Church at 5200 Willowbend Blvd, Houston, TX 77096.
