…youth praise dance ministry

Purpose of Ministry: Enter into the presence of God, and usher the presence of God into worship services, with praise dances in a variety of styles and musical genres

Ministry time:  Sundays 11:00 a.m. - noon, Humphrey Hall

Ministry members: youth in grades 6-12. Advancement into the group can occur at the end of the school year (If you just completed 5th grade, you can begin practicing with MBTS.)

Every session begins with prayer. Come ready to communicate with God and to learn to tune into the Holy Spirit with creative movements. The praise dance team is non-denominational, please feel free to ask your friends to visit.

Attendance: Once a team member makes a commitment to this performance ministry, 75% attendance is required. If you miss more than one rehearsal per month, you will be removed from the current dances and your part will be added back in when we begin learning a new dance. See Mrs. C for exceptions.

Fees, costumes and rehearsal clothing: There are no fees, and no costume costs. You will be dancing in bare feet. Please come to rehearsal dressed in comfortable clothes that allow you to bend, stretch, leap and kick without embarrassment to yourself or the teacher.
