School Expo on Oct. 20

Southwest Houston School ExpoWestbury UMC will host its 5th Annual Southwest Houston School Expo on Saturday, October 20, 10:00 am to noon, in Humphrey Hall. Our goal is to empower parents to make informed choices about their children’s education by providing a laid-back, geographically focused forum.

Up to 40 schools in southwest Houston from all levels (elementary, middle and high school) will set up tables and provide information to prospective families. This information will be used to educate parents about opportunities, options and school performance, thus allowing them to choose the best fit for their children.

This event is free and open to the public. All parents seeking a better understanding of what schools in southwest Houston have to offer are welcome to attend. The Houston ISD Office of School Choice will also have a booth to field parents' questions.

A "child-watch" area for younger siblings will be provided by Westbury UMC's Children's Ministry.

Do you represent a school that would like to participate? It's first-come, first served, with a maximum of 40 schools. Please register online to participate.
