Leadership Team

Follows a Rule of Life (pdf) and meets regularly to pray, support each other in the Christian journey, and imagine and plan various worship and Christian community opportunities of FAM.

Fondren Road Intentional Community

Follows a Rule of Life (pdf), is rooted at the Reserve at Bankside Apartments, and practices prayer, hospitality, and justice. The community shares common meals, morning prayer, vocational discernment, and covenant accountability.

Sunday Mornings

Neighborhood carpool from Los Arcos Apartments (9 am) to gather at Westbury UMC for youth confirmation class (9:15 am), Sunday School classes for all ages (9:30 am) and a worship service (10:45 am). ESL Classes

Empowering refugees toward English literacy, deepening their sense of worth as God’s beloved, and helping them realize their leadership potential within the community and wider society. Mondays & Wednesdays, 10 am–noon & 6–8 pm at 10101 Fondren Road Suite 550 in partnership with:

Covenant with St. Peter’s UMC Katy

St. Peter’s UMC Katy is in covenant partnership with FAM through its prayer, presence, and gifts. St. Peter’s members and Fondren Road Intentional Community members Erin and Russell and Lead Team member Ryan connect their congregation with FAM. FAM is the Mission Focus of St. Peter’s during March 2015.

Empowerment Mission
