Intentional Community

Folks living together in houses and apartment complexes in solidarity with neighbors so they may learn to work and advocate for social justice and sustainable community in Houstonian neighborhoods. Follow a Rule of Life (pdf) and practice prayer, hospitality, and justice. The communities share common meals, morning prayer, vocational discernment, and covenant accountability. Particularly attune to refugee, immigrant, and low-income neighbors.

Sunday Mornings

Gather at Westbury UMC (5200 Willowbend Blvd Houston TX 77096) for Sunday School classes for all ages (9:30AM) and worship service (10:45AM)

ESL Classes

Empowering refugees toward English literacy, deepening their sense of worth as God’s beloved, and helping them realize their leadership potential within the community and wider society. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 10AM–12PM at 10101 Fondren Road Suite 550 in partnership with:
