On Saturday, May 21, and Saturday, May 28, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Westbury UMC will host a two-day event called "Dialogue: Racism." Sponsored by The Center for the Healing of Racism and Houston Community College, Central Campus, this event will cover topics such as stereotypes, how racism is perpetuated and finding allies.
"Dialogue: Racism" is free and open to the public. Organizers hope that this event will provide a safe, respectful and loving outlet for individuals to learn new information, share their experiences, ask questions, dispel fears and stop the separation.
