All Saints' Day is a time to remember all Christians from every time and place. Westbury UMC will recognize those who have helped extend and enliven God’s kingdom through an All Saints Service of Remembrance on Tuesday, November 1, at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary Choir, joined by orchestra, will perform Requiem by Gabriel Fauré. The service will also consist of songs and prayers of thanksgiving for the lives of loved ones who have passed away.
This concert and service of worship is free and open to the public. Attendees will receive a live rosemary plant, symbolizing remembrance and new life, as a gift to remember the deceased. Tributes in memory of the deceased can be included in the evening's commemorative program with a suggested donation of $10. All donations will go toward the church’s special music fund. Fill out a tribute online.
