Women’s Ministries

Westbury UMC has many opportunities available for women. The Women’s Ministries are designed so that every woman at Westbury has a place to fellowship with other women, deepen their spirituality through Bible study or worship opportunities, pray together, discover their individual gifts and open those gifts in a comfortable, loving, accepting atmosphere; and reach out to others in need. You are invited to join us in any or all of the following and we are always open to new, exciting ideas! 

Celebration Ministries

Celebration is a woman-to-woman ministry of sharing, encouraging, discipling, and mentoring in the faith. Our focus is presenting the truth and beauty of the message of salvation, healing, renewal, and restoration in a manner that reaches the inner-woman.

United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Women’s Missionary Society

The purpose of the Women’s Missionary Society shall be to provide women of the local church and the community an opportunity to engage in Christian fellowship and witness, spiritual growth and nurturing, mission study, and mission outreach.
