- Sermon Series on the last week of Jesus’ life. Rev. Keefe
Cropper started the series last Sunday with Jesus: The Final Week; “He Set His
Face Toward Jerusalem”, and will conclude the se- ries on Sunday, March 28.
- Messiah performances at both worship services on March 21,
with Sanctuary Choir, Dr. Todd Miller, tenor, and orchestra.
- Holy Thursday service on April 1, at 7:00 PM, with a focus
on the Upper Room, Last Supper and Jesus’ betrayal. Holy Communion will be
served at this service.
- Good Friday service April 2 at 7:00 PM, with a focus on
the cross and Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins. We will nail lists of our sins to
an old rugged cross, hear Jesus’ last words from the cross, and then move
outdoors to remove the lists of sins and burn them, signifying the burning of
our sins on the cross of Christ. Holy communion will not be served at this service.
- Easter services April 4 at 6:30, 8:30 and 11:00. The
6:30 AM service will be led by Westbury youth and youth director Cody Cruise.
The 8:30 and 11:00 AM services will include Westbury choirs, bells and brass.
Holy communion will not be served at these services.
